More Time than Money?

Whenever I get frustrated by my lack of funds or my unfinished fixer upper home, I just remind myself that people who pay others to do things at their house spend a lot more time in rush hour traffic and in high stress jobs than I do. So it's only fair that they come home and not have to worry about those things. Plus, many high stress jobs earn the money to pay people to make their houses nice. So it makes sense.  For me, I generally have more time than money, and I have to remind myself of that when I'm trying to iron on the hem of the inexpensive make-your-own-length curtains. Which, by the way, are stiff as a board so make sure you put them in the wash before you start!

So for those of us with a bit more time than money, don't despair- I believe it is the opportunity to reach into your inner creativity! When you don't have much money, it forces you to focus on what you do have and be intentional about what you do spend on your home. So take a look at what you do have, and start dreaming!
